CRISANTE E. IGAMA

CRISANTE E. IGAMA
FERRIS WHEEL
Down under,
devastated self think of youth carnivals,
but not hopeless,
as merry-go-round turns
in dizzying spell,
only shrieks of thrills fill the festive air,
when, oh when,
shall this Ferris wheel move,
upward,
remembering warmth of parental hands,
have used to grief and pain,
its dark and lonely,
when familiar voices are gone,
down under,

Up and elevated view,
as it gently move
upward
like break of day,
hope rises,
fresh breeze blow and blossoms scent,
eyes lift to watch sunrise,
shrieks  of thrills in spectacular view
the world, the universe ,

ah the joy of summertime,,
chant spring melodies in the air,
anticipating dusk this Ferris wheel brings,
down under and up once again
in sunrise,
a child runs in field of freedom,
dreams of Ferris wheel.
